REFLECTIONS

The Greek Philosopher Plotinus spoke of guardian daemons and of the idea that each individual is a microcosm of the ordered universe; this bears a strong resemblence to the holographic theory (i.e., the universe as hologram). And Democritus viewed the image-making abilities of God as at the heart of the concept of the guardians, the realm of the daemons. I am always amazed at the way in which Anthony's text, ITLAD? and CTF theory has truly closed the circle of the pathway from ancient Greek philosophy to quantum physics and post-modern science.

A second thought: Jesamyn had asked me regarding practical ideas of how to reach one's daemon. I do not know how others feel or think on this issue; for myself, I take the decidedly Kierkegaardain view that there is no trick one can employ. One does not make the choice, but is called, as it were, by the daemon. The unity must be forged hour by hour, through our thinking, living, relating, dreaming. . .

Firstly I must state that I have not quite finished Anthony Peake's book. Work intrudes in to my time, and I want to understand it fully. Thank you, Susan Marie, for your always insightful comments. I had asked Anthony for an Itlad Book for Dummies, and I now realise that after something like 20 years of sailing thoughtlessly along on the breeze of Life, I cannot now cram knowledge and practice in to an instant capsule to be swallowed and work its magic immediately. Moment by moment sounds as if it must be the way forward and I will think upon this and finish The Book!!!I will be interested in responses to your insight of life.Last but not least I have been most remiss not to thank you for your entirely unique and selfless offer to help me in any way should I decide to study Philosophy as I wish most definitely to do, knowing you are an expert in the field. Thank you...In highest esteem as always Jesamyn.

I love your comments and contributions. Jesamyn: I think I've read and re-read Anthony's book a million times. My experience of the daemon has been infrequent and the voice has been there at what I think were critical points. Also, I think quiet times and meditation may help to get in touch with the voice. Observing one's thoughts is a helpful process whether you hear the voice or not
