“Oh the wild joys of living! The leap from rock to rock… the cool silver shock of the plunge in a pool’s living waters.” Robert Browning

Johar; That is a very nice quote of Browning's, and very applicable. You always make such good use of literary quotes and I appreciate such very much from you. I can think of so much in literature that now flows straight back to Tony. In philosophy, even more.
Thank you Susan Marie.
The quote makes me think of Karl's sea of consciousness analogy. Tony's work inspires me to appreciate living, not just contemplate death.
Just as an aside to you, I am reading a book at the moment by an English author called David Lodge.
It's called Therapy and is about a man who is suffering existential angst. He has just discovered the writings of Kirkegaard and I think of you a lot as I read it.
It's actually very funny and witty as this rather self absorbed man reads the philosophers work and says 'That's me that is!'. Just wanted you to know, I'll stop waffling now!
Johar: Thank you for telling me about this book, and I appreciate that you have caught the connection between myself and Kierkegaard. How perceptive of you! I would like to read it myself. Thank you again for all of your astute and relevant remarks.
I don't know if you can get it in the states but I would happily send it to you. Email me your address if you would like that.
Oh, what a kind and sweet offer! I will look into getting it and email you should I have a problem, thanks so much. SMK
Johar and Susan Marie: Thanks for the joyous quotes on the positive living aspect.
And ah Kierkegaard! How fabulous!
Terrific stuff.
