Groundhog Christmas.

Ive had Deja Vue all my life, but a strong one happened on boxing day just gone.I was sat at the table with my family eating, then the usual strange feeling came over me,its a feeling in the pit of the stomache abit like the butterfly feeling people describe. It was like i was watching a repeat of a movie i suppose it lasted 3 maybe 4 seconds but it felt like alot longer.I knew what they were going to say next because i had seen it before. It was as if time slowed and allowed me to view the scene again.I mentioned this to my Father and he told me he had a similar experience when he was younger in the army.He was in Egypt and as he was leaving to return home, he had a very strong feeling come over him that lasted for what seemed like several minutes although he said it was only seconds. He was convinced he'd been to this place before and done the same things, seen the same people had the same conversations ect. This was the only time in his life he has ever had Deja Vue.Im convinced we have been here before and we will again ie;Groundhoglife.

Dave,

Welcome aboard. Fascinating comment as well. When I was in Switzerland to do a talk this time last year I met up with a fellow member of the Scientific & Medical Network (SMN)who described a very similar incident. He works as a research scientist and was off work with a bout of flu. He was in his living room when he heard his front door bell ring. His wife got up, walked across the room and answered the door.In walked a couple of his work associates. They smiled and walked towards him. He explained to me that the scene then dissolved in front of his eyes and he again heard the knock on the door. He watched in amazement as his wife again walked across the room. He knew exactly who had knocked on the door and what they would do on entering the room - and yes, history did repeat itself. He asked me whether I considered this to be a deva vu or a precognition. Rather like your experience I think these 'time slips' are something far more complex and yet more proof of my Bohmian IMAX theory.

I do wonder if these time slips happen for a reason? On the face of it they appear insignificant in terms of content but I'm not wholly of the belief that they are just accidental 'slips'.
I wonder if it's a nudge for the people it is happening to. The content is not necessarily important but the fact it's happening is?

Dave--How interesting!! Johar; I think you've hit upon something: The deja vu experiences I and most people I've talked to have had seem always to arise in the most trivial and mundane circumstances, and not from momentous occurences. Yet the feeling they leave is uncanny. I always get the feeling, during deja vu, that there is some conspirisy going on, but a friendly one. . .

Hi Susan Marie,
This is a quick aside from this post. I came across your post regarding the circumstances around your husband's death and I have to say I was quite spooked.
I have always had a nagging fear that my husband would die the same way as my father. There was absolutely no evidence to suggest this would ever happen or to support my fear. When my husband passed the age that my father died I wondered if the 'curse' was broken. However I always worried about him even though he was in good health. Sadly my years of subconscious fear came into being and he did die the same way as my dad.
Your story made the hairs on my arms stand on end! X

Johar; In turn, your post has spooked me. . . It is uncanny! And what, I wonder, is the meaning? Thanks for making me realize I am not alone in this! I would love to know what Anthony would make of this, as per his theory? Do you have any ideas concerning how this self-fulfilling prophesy could occur with no real reason for it? And with the conditions not supporting it beforehand?
