Niels Bohr would observe one lane and drive through to Copenhagen.
Werner Heisenberg would be uncertain (on principle). *chortle*
Erwin Schrodinger would just collapse and wave. *groan*
Thomas Young would have his headlights going through both lanes!
Albert Einstein would let his relative decide. *bangs head*
Hugh Everett III would adopt his Many Roads Interpretation.
Max Planck would drive though at a CONSTANT speed *hee hee*
David Bohm would wait for the correct order to be implicated!
And our Master, Anthony Peake ?
Well, he'd surely jump on a boat instead..........................
and Cheat The Ferryman by not paying him.
(Oh how we all laughed!!!)

Does the sign say:
"Max Speed 30 squared"?
Poor Max Planck then, WOW his constant 900 mph/kmph will take him no LENGTH of time.
Ha Ha !
Oh, ok, Quantum Physics puns over from me.

Unfortunately i'm still a rookie in the Quantum world. My knowledge in this area is still Virgin-like but your witty use of Grammar still amused me, plus i like it when you say things.
How we all laughed indeed!
I am in full agreement with hurlyburly: While I am quite the novice regarding quantum physics, I nevertheless am a quick enough literary critic to catch the delightful nature of Karl's wild and whirling words. I wish Mr. Peake would make an appearence on this one -- perhaps he will.
Many thanks to HurlyBurly and Susan Marie.
I'm glad I could raise a smirk or two and I'm sure Tony will make one of his now legendary apperances soon (he is probably stuck in the traffic at that quantum junction - caused by Heisenberg's Uncertainty (on principle) - waiting to hear which lane his Daemon tells him to take). *smile*
Ok, so Heisenberg finally gets through the Quantum Junction by the tried-old method of just giving it some welly with your eyes closed.
When he opens his eyes he is being pursued by a police car so he pulls over.
The policeman ambles over (as only Policemen can) and asks hims:
"Excuse me Sir, do you know how fast you were just going?"
Heisenburg replies:
"No, but I know EXACTLY where I am."
*guffaw*

Karl; I actually had a dream last night that you were talking to me about all of this with an icepack on your head--- must have come from this post, and viewing your picture. This indicates that you do indeed have a daemon which can communicate for you when you are in absentia.
Susan Marie,
Now this is INTERESTING.
Firstly, that there are ladies out there who are dreaming about me (excellent!)
*thumbs up*
and Secondly, because rather spookily, I spent most of last night nursing a monumental headache, clutching an ice cold flannel to my forehead.
Hmmmm!
*ponders*
Karl: I rest my case. You do in fact have a daemon, virgin though you be. Tell Papa Peake. He needs to put in an appearence, in any case. (Incidentally, I have from my youth up, been given to these quasi-telepathic dreams: I will tell an Uncle, or an old friend, "I dreamt last night that you were lugging a bicycle, or dragging a watermellon into a cellar"--very inane and banal things. And they say. "My god, I was doing such and such last night. . . " You cannot keep a low profile with me, Karl (as you say, *smiles at her own joke*).. . To be continued. . .
Susan Marie,
"A man who as a physical being is always turned toward the outside, thinking that his happiness lies outside him, finally turns inward and discovers that the source is within him."
- Soren Kierkegaard.
*smile*
KIERKEGAARD, in my opinion, the greatest thinker of his age and ours as well. And daemonic, in the Peakian sense of the word. You are on the right track, Karl. . .
Tom Cruise would get out of his car/limo/spaceship and set up a toll charging people for access to the truth.
And Kierkegaard would consider it an "either/or" moment. . .
Hi Folks,
Sorry for being "away" as such. I have been travelling round the country for the last week (in my other role as a management consultant).
It is really great that everybody is getting on so well. I am absolutely amazed at Karl's 'headache' and how Susan Marie was aware of it. here we have 'live' clairvoyant incidents.
Karl,
You could be the world's first 'quantum stand-up comedian'
"Bohm,Bohm" as Basil 'Schrodinger' Brush may have said!
"Bohm, Bohm", Ha Ha!
*dons sparkly comedy suit*
I say, I say; What do you get if you cross a Quantum Physicist with a Snake?
...........A Bohr Constrictor.
*bum - bum - tesh*
What's a Nuclear Physicists favourite meal?
...........Fission Chips.
*t u m b l e w e e d*
And when Heisenberg came up with his Uncertainty Principle he was thinking about his love-life.
When the time was right he didn't have the energy.
And when the passion was right, he couldn't figure out the position.
*wah - wah - wah*
I THANK YOU
*bows and runs off stage*
Decafe...
You just got your shout out, you're offcialy a famous quantam comedian now!
Thanks HurlyBurly,
I've offered to Tony that I should be his warm-up man on his lectures.
*smile*
*smiling at the irony of Ross playing Queen’s “Don’t Stop Me Now” to interrupt Tony in mid flow*
Ha !
I was sitting reading in preparation for the interview and I decided to put on a CD. While in London a few days back I acquired a heavily discounted copy of Jamiiroquai's 'High Times' album. Now this is an unusual purchase for me. I am very much an indie rock and alt country fan (Fountains of Wayne, Built To Spill, Wilco, Son Volt etc) - blue-eyed soul is not really my taste. But I just had an urge. It had played through to track 6 when the phone call came through from Ross. This track is 'Virtual Insanity'. I had my computer on so I turned off the CD. As I did so the computer speaker continued playing 'Virtual Insanity'. I went back into the living room thinking that the CD had switched itself back on. No, it was playing through the computer speakers. Ross had chosen the identical record!
Synchronicity rules OK!!!
Weirdly synchrondipitous indeed, and alarming that Tony would be drawn to Jamiroquai of all people!
I did smile to myself at the irony and indeed cruel serendipity of Ross playing Queen's "Don't Stop Me Now", when Tony was in mid-flow!
Ha!
