Ah yes! I remember when the counter began and we were talking about 70 or so hits a WEEK! Now it's around 70 a DAY!

170 days since the counter began, so 10,000 hits works out an an average of almost 59 per day, and as the traffic increase is exponential this 'mean average' figure will only increase.

Tony: I can assure you that 10,000 in so short a period of time is extremely rare, and by the standards of the American blogosphere, at least, puts you up in the rare caliber of high-quality, high-traffic blogs and approaching the mega-hit status. The Google and Amazon affiliate programs I showed you on my own blog site would fly far better on your own , at least until mine can hook in with a national network of academics. Yours could do that easily as well.
