Toilet 'chain'

After I left home and possibly before, I kept having this same dream about our outside toilet - it was always in a disgusting state and pretty crude (Like a Greek toilet, which I used on holiday once, where it's just a hole in the ground but why did I dream of my house toilet in this state when it could have been this foreign one that I dreamed of and that was genuinely in this state from the start?). What I realized after a holiday in the countryside, from which I am freshly returned, is that the town is sophisticated, whereas the country is crude and less sharp in its standards. This ties in with last months Science News piece on 'The Importance of Being Frightened', in that the 'screwed up'(facial) attitude was mine, with regards to this past and the future was one I viewed with 'wide-eyed' wonder (Having said that, the piece about the Tennis Player and his dream of failure, ties in with 'Galaxy Quest' attitude of "Never give up, never surrender" as I realized because I see my lack of success as being tied to a particular place at a particular time and not eternity: You don't know unless you try attitude).
