You know I have had the 'Sting Thing' for nearly thirty years. We even looked alike when we were younger. A really true story this. In 1997 I was in New York and Penny and I went to the top of the Empire State Building. Whilst up there one of the security guards had let it be known that "Sting was up at the top level". Before we knew it we had lots of people around us. Very weird. Indeed in the mid 1980's when I lived in Colchester many people actually believed I was his brother!!!
We did attend the same university but I think that is the only link - oh yes, and an interest in synchronicity. You may recall that the Police and an album and song of that title.
I have a couple of CD's by Alan Parsons. I have no idea what he looks like but I will check him out.
Hi Tony,
I found this pic of Alan:

'Meanwhile, some creature crawls from the bottom of a Scottish loch' :)
Its no good - I can't resist:
So you were an Englishman in New York? :)
Carenza......... Ha Ha ! Fabulous - pinched my gag !
Tony, I like the romanticism of re-enacting the final scene of "An Affair To Remember" or "Sleepless in Seattle".
