HURLY; As I don't think it is on over here, why don't you write about it after you've seen it, if you have time. . .
The documentary which is on UK TV later tonight is about a remarkable young man named Stephen Wiltshire (who I actually had the pleasure of meeting about 6 years ago when I was writing within the Mental Health sector).
There have been many previous programmes regarding Stephen, who lives with Autism and is able to draw incredibly detailed landscapes from memory. The most iconic being a BBC edition of QED in the late 80s when Stephen was just 13 years of age.

Now watching another Extraordinary people on five life - The man who dreams the future. A guy predicted 9/11 among many other events.

That is quoted in a another film or a sitcom or something and i can't place it, i've been trying for about a year now. I can hear it in my head and usualy i keep replaying it untill i eventualy get it but this one is stumping me!

Dr. Darrold Trefford, a sometime visitor to this site, has done a good deal of work with Stephen over the years. You may recall that Darrold was the technical advisor for the movie "Rain Man". His book "Extraordinary People" is well worth reading.
HB: Thanks for the text message with regard to the 9/11 guy. Most frustrating that I couldn't act upon it because as I was in the car driving back from my lecture in Blackburn when I received your message (the band Modest Mouse playing away in the background).
Hopefully I will catch it again at a later date.

I know it's a pretty worn out refference but there's one in particular i have in my head and i don't know where it's from, it's quite annoying!!!
The first one on Stephen was quite interesting and his work was truely amazing. The second one i watched about the guy who had the dream about 9/11 and several other things wasn't as good. You may want to contact him Tony, he's very keem on researching this and is quite active on the internet apparently.
There's another one i want to watch about the man who's half man / half tree. That's just ridiculous!

Enough cryptic comments. I am sure that we are confusing the hell out of our non-British fellow bloggers.
For clarification - Half Man Half Biscuit were a stuningly original (if a little strange) rock band who were sort-of-popular in the mid 1980's. As far as I am aware they share two things with myself:
1. They support Tranmere Rovers and
2. They used to (and proably still do) drink in The Bridge Inn in Port Sunlight ( the pub that Karl L Le Marcs and ItsCoolToCare met recently.
