Hi,
Anyone happen to watch the BBC programme about the many TV shows and films that have portayed parallel worlds? They moved on from talking about Star Trek and Dr Who into films that are based around quantum physics, such as Sliding Doors and the notion of multiple worlds.
As I watched it I was thinking to myself how the producers of the show might have further benefited from having read ITLAD or maybe even just joining in the BLOG - which gets far more profound than they were able to manage.
Nevertheless, a good show, I thought. (Actually, it's just another fine example of how clever i am at creating my own illusions.)

Hey Ed,
No, I didn't watch it tonight as I saw the extended version which was on BBC 4 last year
(I seem to remember it was on around the first time they showed the Mark Everett documentary on his father)
It was ok, a decent "Introduction" to some of the more basic theories but hey, everyone has got to start somewhere, even I was 9 or 10 before I began reading Quantum Physics (unfortunately that is NOT a joke!); reading Alexander Solzhenitsyn's "The Gulag Archipelago" (all three volumes) when 8 years old started my Bibliophilia off, and I still have that very copy in my vast library at home!
Keep on creating those illusions Ed, hopefully we can have an ale together in your next one.
ED: One of my on-going frustrations is watching these programmes and knowing that the producers are just 'tinkering round the edges' of something far more profound and paradigm changing. We know this as ITLAD and CTF.
Sooner or later this idea and theory will slip into public consciousness and when it does it will be the source of much interest. The question is when and how.
The glorious day in which i finish something i start i'm hoping to write a screenplay based on ITLAD. I think i would need some quantum coaching from the combo that is Peake & Marcs first though.
Hurlyburly: Need you ask my friend? I am only too pleased to by your guide through the Quantum Quagmire!

AND there is a time limit of 7 days from broadcast of the programme.

Hurlyburly: I will get myself down to dearest London soon Martin mate, but right now I feel like I could use a Parallel World (see what I did there??) and the MWI to allow myself to 'split' in order for me to be in a variety of places doing a variety of things all at once!
